Born in São Paulo and holding a degree in Audiovisual Arts, Clara has built a career at the intersection of narrative, image, and music.

Her journey began at MTV Brazil, in the special and music programming direction department, where she developed a strong connection with the language of music videos that resonates throughout her work.

With a background in art direction for feature films, series, and advertising, she honed her unique creative vision in collaboration with director Zé Inlê, co-directing films noted for their striking aesthetics, precise actor direction, and refined humor.

Clara now pursues her solo career as a scene director, bringing the same visual inventiveness and technical rigor to her narratives. Her portfolio includes work for clients such as Netflix, Prime Video, MTV, PepsiCo, and Samsung.

Parallel to her work in audiovisual, Clara is the creator and curator of Hand Painted Brazil, a research and curatorial project dedicated to vernacular Brazilian painting. The project's Instagram profile, with over 135 thousand followers and an archive of more than five thousand images, has become a reference in the documentation and celebration of this unique form of popular expression.
